Dust frequently with a soft, clean, lint-free cloth.  Frequent dusting will remove abrasive buildup, which can damage the finish over time.

Avoid exposing your furniture to strong sunlight, heat outlets, open windows or dampness.  (Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can fade the furniture finish, while extreme temperature and humidity. changes can cause cracking and splitting.

Do not expose your furniture to any harsh liquids.  Alcohol, nail polish and perfume can dissolve the furniture finish on contact and may require repair. 

Use glass cleaners such as Windex â to remove dirt or small accidental mars.  You may also use mineral spirits, which you can buy at any hardware store or supermarket.

Never use polishes or waxes of any kind.
